We hope your congregation will be able to answer the question, “What Is Our Ministry?” And encourage all to Dream Together about short and long term dreams for your ministry. The Month of the Ministry Prayer Calendar is an excellent way to get started and everyone in your congregation, from young to old, can take part. A celebration calendar/poster was mailed to you in early May. Additional copies of the calendar can be downloaded below.

You can also download the sample Call To Worship for use in your worship service (page 3 in the Guide). We encourage you to order enough for your congregation or this, too, can be downloaded below. Or, allow our sample Call To Worship to be the springboard in creating your own personalized Call To Worship or Litany. You might want to have different groups within your congregation create a Call To Worship or Litany for each Sunday in October. The possibilities are endless!

As your congregation dreams together about what they envision their ministry to be, we encourage you to use our Dream Catcher Box with your Dream Teams (page 2 in the enclosed Guide). The Legend of the Dream Catcher and Dream Catcher kits (page 3) can be used with a

wide age range. The story “57 Cents” and the Month of the Ministry Word Search (page 4) are

great ways consider what dreaming has meant to others.

The Month of the Ministry is also an excellent time to honor and remember our retired

ministers and their spouses who have served so faithfully over the years. Their dreams for the

churches they served have helped foster dreams in so many other congregations of faith

believers.
