Student Gift Programs

The Student Gift Pension Plan Membership was established in 1953.  It was designed to assist students preparing for ministry by enrolling and introducing them early into the Pension Plan, as well as encouraging congregations to participate on behalf of their student pastors.  Enrollment into the Pension Plan means that each seminarian participating in the gift program will have: 1.) a retirement pension; 2.) member disability benefit; and 3.) member death benefits for surviving spouse, children and/or family.  All of these benefits will form the foundation for the student, as well as protection and support for the student's family.  The Pension Plan is a fully funded, defined benefit plan that will provide students with valuable financial protection should a need arise while in seminary, as well as early in ministry when keeping the membership active.

Student Gift Pension Plan Membership is available to full-time seminary students in their second year preparing for congregational ministry who meet the eligibility criteria.  Please click the following for specific gift program information:
